We are trying passionately to keep pet owners and their family pets together. Link hands...join us here!!

I have seen numerous animals that have been found discarded on a country road, alone and afraid. Heartbreakingly, many just don't make it. The past 2 years I have seen a huge increase in this gut wrenching tragedy. In many cases pet owners have tried to turn the pet over to animal shelters only to be told they are already overcrowded and can't take the dog/cat/rabbit or other pets. Pet owners don't know what to do so they tie them up at the shelter during the night. Or drop them off on a roadside, in the futile hope that they will be found and loved by a family that can take care of them. In most instances, these are people who love their pets but have lost their jobs and homes. They are ashamed, scared and hurting. They are made helpless by depression. All they know is that they can't take care of their family pet any longer and they have no other options left to them. This is where we come in. Will you help us to be their voice? If we can get enough grants, enough donations, we can keep these family pets with the family that loves them and shouldn't ever have to give them up. We can make sure that seniors don't have to give up feeding themselves, in order to feed their beloved companion. We can make sure that innocent, loving children get to keep the pet that has been their best friend for many years of their life. We can help cases where pets are put to death because families can't afford a simple surgery. We can do this. And with your commitment we will succeed.

For The Love Of Pets. Our Non-Profit was created for a golden ray of sunshine that was dropped off on our country road. We named her Roxy. She moved right into our home...and our hearts. We didn't discover why she was placed on our road until it was too late to help her. You see Roxy had seizures and the family that loved her couldn't afford to take care of her. None of us could understand WHY anyone would willingly give up the obviously well loved, well trained, precious bundle of joy and love that was Roxy. We found out too late. After Roxy went to the Rainbow Bridge to await those who loved her, I just couldn't let it go. The why of it all. Although we loved Roxy dearly and she loved us...under it all you could tell that she really missed her family. We came to believe that Roxy was given up because her owners just couldn't afford her medicines. So I began to look for resources out there for Pet owners in need. And there really aren't many. So Roxy...Thank you for the love you gave. Thank you for the Joy of you. Most of all...Thank you for being the reason For The Love Of Pets was created. RIP Roxy. You are missed
